CORDA Guide Book

2012/2013 Canada Ontario Resource Development Agreement Guide Book

The Canada Ontario Resource Development Agreement (CORDA) is an agreement between Canada, Ontario and First Nations’ members in Ontario.

The Agreement promotes resource and economic development initiatives of First Nations’ members by providing financial assistance to develop and utilize renewable natural resources.

The Agreement is due for renewal for another 5 year term.  Therefore, funding for 2012/13 and beyond is subject to renewal of the Agreement.  Proposals will be received and reviewed in anticipation of renewal.  However, please note that if the Agreement is not renewed, approval of your project will not be realized.

The Canada Ontario Resource Development Agreement (CORDA) program is accepting applications from First Nations, their members, and Treaty organizations between now and October 3, 2011.

Below we have included links to the 2012-2013 CORDA Guide Book and Application Form.  As there are changes to the Guide Book from previous years, it is recommended you review the Guide Book carefully before submitting an application.

CORDA encourages promotion of the program to your local community. CORDA continues to support sustainable natural resource projects.
